Important Disclaimer
Amanda Young/Inner Sense Somatics offers educational movement practices designed to increase body awareness and address patterns of muscular tension. These practices are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
The somatic movement lessons I offer are gentle and suitable for most people, but like any movement practice, they may not be appropriate for everyone. Some temporary muscle soreness or emotional releases may occur as your nervous system adapts to new movement patterns.
If you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns about your ability to participate safely, please consult with your healthcare provider before beginning any new movement practice. Certain conditions require physician clearance or may be contraindicated for somatic movement.
I am a certified Living Somatic Movement teacher, not a licensed healthcare professional. The information and guidance I provide complements but does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. I do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatments, or guarantee specific health outcomes.
By participating in sessions with me, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health and wellbeing during and after the practice, and that you agree to honestly disclose all relevant health information. Please review our complete Terms & Conditions for detailed information about client responsibilities, contraindications, and scope of practice.
